About Us

Ian Rodway
is the founder of the company and brings over 20 years' of experience of the trade and the construction/renovation industry.

His career started serving an apprenticeship in Essex. He then worked as a sub-contractor locally and fast became known for the speed and quality of the work he carried out. He then spent several years working in London which took him to many prestigious locations including most of the Government office buildings, the Palace of Westminster and Royal Palaces.

In 2001, a family move to Norfolk brought about a change and Ian shortly began working as a contractor in his own right. Recommendations and Ian's uncompromising approach to quality and service meant that before long, he needed help and now enlists the help of selected sub-contractors – all working to the same high standards that Ian insists on. Despite the business growing successfully, Ian strongly believes that his personal involvement in every project is crucial and refuses to become 'office bound' and is very much a hands-on leader of the team.

During his experience to date Ian has lead or been involved in projects including:

  • barn conversions
  • loft conversions
  • property renovations – including extensive experience of listed properties
  • new build projects
  • oak-framed buildings
  • kitchens – fitted and bespoke
  • bedrooms – fitted and bespoke
  • home offices
  • bespoke furniture
  • garden buildings and structures
  • office/industrial unit refits
  • shop-fitting
  • trade van panelling/shelving

This is by no means an extensive list – if your next project isn't listed here, it doesn't mean we can't help you! Please give us a call today to find out more.

Ian's experience means that he is one of the few truly multi-skilled craftsmen operating today, using a combination of new and traditional methods. A browse through the web pages will show the breadth of this experience and will hopefully give you a flavour of what Ian and the team can bring to your next project.

Even in his spare time, Ian can't be too far away from his trade and spends time working on personal projects – including building a replica Land Rover – all from wood!

Helen
– Ian's long-suffering wife – provides all the day to day support for the business and is responsible for all things administrative.
